The Golden Hours Podcast by Golden Deer Productions
The reason I am so involved and passionate about podcasting now is because of the chance Golden Deer Productions took on me. This was the first podcasting internship I applied for, and in my interview I acknowledged my lack of experience with the actual editing process. The only thing I promised was that I had a great work ethic, and I would learn everything I needed to in order to help produce the podcast.
By a stroke of luck I was hired, and the rest is history.
I worked at GDP for a year where I helped produce “The Golden Hours Podcast” with a small team. I learned how to edit video and audio using Final Cut Pro X, and I learned the ins-and-outs of planning, hosting, and recording a podcast. The experience and knowledge I gained was amazing, and it everyday was a valuable experience.
Below, listen to an episode with Ken Casey, the frontman of the Dropkick Murphy’s, on an episode of “The Golden Hours Podcast” that I helped plan, write, host, edit, and post.
